Simply name that man!
This man served as a spiritual battle-ground between God and Satan!
This man was a native of Uz, whose unexplained suffering is the subject of one entire book of the Old Testament. He endured his afflictions by faith in God and this led to his eventual return to prosperity.
One day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the Lord, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."
Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant _________?"There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." Satan answered the Lord, "_________ honors you because he is rich. You have given him many flocks and much land. His family loves him. But see what happens if he loses these things. He will curse you."
So the Lord allowed Satan to test _________. The very next day, one disaster after another hit. First, his flocks were destroyed and a whirlwind killed his children. Then he broke out in sores all over his body. But no matter what happened, he did not curse the Lord.
